What inspired this collection?
Lots of different things, I looked at the art of Alex Calder and Andy Goldsworthy. I also looked at the work of Lena Wolff, a San Francisco based artist who works in paper cuts and pinpricks. Oh and plastic charm bracelets...

What type of girl wears your jewelry?
She’s a bit mod, a bit preppy, a bit pretty, a bit punky and nice and casual. She mixes things up and she doesn’t take herself too seriously.

What were some of your favorite accessories from the Spring 2010 collections?
I liked the Miu Miu Cat Brooch, the necklaces at Dries Van Norten, the belts at Peter Som, Proenza Schouler’s crazy mixed chain bags...Stella McCartney had beautiful simple classic looking accessories as well.

Did you listen to any albums while working on this collection?
A bit of a mixture, from Bajofondo to M.I.A. to Arcade Fire, Nick Cave to Leon Redbone. My partner Matt will always put on Dire Straits, without fail...

Three things you can’t live without?
My Partner Matthew, my mother’s advice! (She has a lot...) and my Mac--it has all my research and work...
