Chicago Fresh Faces in Fashion Show
On Saturday, October 24th Gen Art members, friends, guests, press and VIP’s were treated to a stunning fashion spectacle, celebrating the spring collections of Fresh Faces designers C/Fan, Kristin Hassan, Dorsia, JLee Silver, Imaginary People and Reddoll.
Guests were greeted at the tent by a live model installation featuring the breath-taking jewelry designs of Fab Studio, and then perused the collections of handbag designer kling and jewelry designer Emma Carroll.
The much-anticipated fashion show drew gasps from the audience as models strutted the runway in the very diverse Fresh Faces collections. Each designer showcased 10 unique and innovate looks on the runway. Actress Nadine Velazquez from "My Name is Earl" sat front row.
Later guests partied the night away at Enclave with Absolut and Aperol cocktails and catering by District Bar. The live performance by emerging local hip hop artists the Richkiddz was the highlight of the after party - and had guests dancing along, cocktails in hand, into the early morning.

Shorty Clothing Virtual Fashion Show
On Thursday, September 24th Gen Art and Shorty clothing hosted an evening of fashion and cocktails at Lumen in Chicago’s meatpacking district. More than 500 guests attended the launch of Shorty’s e-Boutique featuring the lines Fall/Winter collection. The evening featured a virtual fashion show and essence video showcasing the looks and highlighting the collection’s "Jem and the Holograms meets Marie Antoinette" inspiration. Guests watched the virtual fashion show on a special projection screen, while sipping Grey Goose and Bacardi cocktails and listening to DJ Supertoy.
